SHANGHAI — The message Husky Injection Molding Systems delivered at Chinaplas 2014 reflects the “strategic priority” the company said it places on hot runners and controllers business.
The Bolton, Ontario-based firm introduced two new products at the world’s second largest plastics trade fair, held April 23-26 in Shanghai.
The Altanium Matrix2 temperature controller offers an integrated platform for two to 254 zones of control and helps customers achieve improved part quality and increased uptime.
The new Unify manifold systems provides a simple, one-step installation of the hot runner manifold into a mold without needing to pre-heat the system, which can save up to 70 percent of installation time. It also allows for simple hot runner maintenance, reducing down time and continuous leak-proof operation.
The Unify manifold systems are now available for Ultra 1000 hydraulic valve gate nozzles. It will soon be available with pneumatic valve gate and the hot ip TS configurations, for Ultra 1000 and the complete Ultra 750 series of nozzles. |
